Our Story
Dear Parent...
No one tells you that one day you'll fold a tiny sleeper for the last time.
There isn't a warning.
No announcement.
One day they simply outgrow it.
The pajamas that somehow made every bedtime sweeter.
The little sweater Grandma bought before they were even born.
The coming-home outfit that still feels impossible to look at without remembering exactly how small they once were.
At first, you keep everything.
Then the drawers become too full.
The closet gets crowded.
A box appears in the basement.
Another in the attic.
You tell yourself you'll sort through it one day.
But when that day comes, you find yourself sitting on the floor, holding tiny clothes that somehow still feel like they belong to your baby.
Because they were never just clothes.
They were first smiles.
Sleepy cuddles.
Birthday mornings.
Bedtime stories.
The outfit they wore when they took their first steps.
The tiny sleeper that somehow still smells like them.
How could anyone expect you to simply let that go?
The truth is...
I couldn't either.
Hi, I'm Alysia.
Before Ollie & Nash became a keepsake business, it was simply my way of finding comfort.
After becoming a mom, I struggled with postpartum depression and needed an outlet—something that belonged to me in the middle of those overwhelming early days of motherhood.
So I started sewing.
At first, I made simple things like scrunchies.
People loved them, and they sold well.
But something never felt quite right.
I knew I was making something that anyone could buy anywhere.
It didn't feel meaningful.
Around the same time, my own children were growing faster than I was ready for.
Like so many parents, I had bins of baby clothes I couldn't part with.
(Just ask my husband.)
Every tiny sleeper, favourite pajama, and little outfit carried memories that felt impossible to replace.
One day I asked myself a simple question:
What if I didn't have to let them go?
What if those clothes could become something I would treasure every day?
That idea became my very first keepsake.
And something unexpected happened.
It brought me comfort.
Those clothes weren't hidden away in a box anymore.
They became part of our home.
Part of our everyday life.
Part of our family's story.
That feeling changed everything.
I realized I didn't want to simply sew beautiful things.
I wanted to help other families find that same comfort.
That's when Ollie & Nash truly began.
Our Mission
At Ollie & Nash, we help families find comfort in the memories they aren't ready to let go of.
Every keepsake begins with clothing that has already been deeply loved.
Not just fabric.
A first birthday.
A favourite bedtime outfit.
The sweater Grandpa bought.
The little sleeper that came home from the hospital.
Every stitch represents a story that deserves to be remembered.
Our Promise
When your package arrives at my studio, I know I'm not opening a box of clothing.
I'm opening a chapter of your family's story.
I know these pieces can't be replaced.
I know they carry memories that are impossible to put a price on.
That's why every keepsake is thoughtfully designed, carefully cut, and sewn with the same care I would give my own family's memories.
My hope is that when your keepsake returns home, it doesn't simply become another decoration.
I hope it becomes something your family reaches for.
Something your children grow up with.
Something that reminds you not of how quickly childhood passed...
But of how deeply it was loved.
Welcome to Ollie & Nash.
A place for the parent who isn't ready to let go.
A place where childhood is preserved with care.
A place where every stitch tells a story.
Thank you for trusting me with yours.
With love,
Alysia
